Let’s Talk Business

(This is also available as a video on Facebook which can be found here)

Let’s talk business…

I know, you’re probably thinking, “But you’re a food/wellness blogger.”

Which I AM! But I am also a business woman.

You may or may not be aware that as an MBA, I have helped manage major corporations and small businesses. In addition to my graduate degree, I also have certifications education, personal, children’s and sports nutrition. My experience in education, business and administration feeds into my personal business which has empowered my family physically, financially and spiritually in more ways than I can share…

So when this image came up on a friend’s feed, I couldn’t help but sit down to write/share with you some of my thoughts about business.

Now, just a little google search will tell you that there were more than two friends who joined him…but not many more. Like 4 or 5 guys.

But still…how many people do you think Zuckerberg shared his idea with? And how many of those people are kicking themselves for not jumping on the opportunity when they had the chance?

Recently, on my personal Facebook page, I shared some facts about major corporations that are closing down locations nationwide. I also shared that the largest transportation company is one that does not own any vehicles whatsoever (uber), and that the largest hotel/resort company in the world doesn’t own a single building (Airbnb).

Reality is, now more than ever, is the time to step out and take a leap…to do something that you are passionate and excited about, to find success in something that interests you!

Think about it…McDonald’s started with two brothers determined to make their restaurant duplicatable.

This new business model had never been seen before, and people thought they were CRAZY!!

Franchising??

What a ponzi scheme!

But they weren’t crazy, were they?

Today, an average McDonald’s Franchise generates $2.5 MILLION in sales, annually, second only to Chick-fil-A, another major franchise that is helping small business owners all over the world!

But, according to Business Insider (Peterson, 2014), to open a single restaurant, the company requires that potential franchisees have liquid assets of at least $750,000. THREE QUARTERS OF A MILLION DOLLARS…LIQUIDITY! In addition to this, start up costs average between $955,708 and $2.3 MILLION, of which the Franchisee must pay 40% in cash and other non-borrowed resources, while the rest can be financed.

THEN (no, we’re not through), McDonald’s charges a $45,000 franchisee fee AND ongoing monthly service fees equal to 4% of gross sales. PLUS they must pay rent to the company, which is a percentage of their monthly sales ranging anywhere from 8.5-12% of their sales.

WHEW.

Costs are similar for other franchisee startup opportunities like KFC, Wendy’s and Taco Bell.

Now, I don’t know about you…but that all seems a bit out of reach for a vast majority of the people I know and love.

What if I told you though that there is a franchise type opportunity that doesn’t cost MILLIONS to start?

It doesn’t even have to cost thousands…rather, your start up costs are completely up to how fast and furious you want to or are able to begin.

And like a franchise type company, you’ll be providing a service or acting as an agent for a company’s products…products that you will benefit from and can actively use in your home and on your family…today!

In your own home, on your own terms.

Really.

So, let’s take a moment to get out of our own way…to listen with open ears and open hearts.

But first, let me ask you…what is the difference between a franchise and an honest to goodness network marketing opportunity?

Remember…open minds.

Maybe you’re thinking, “Well, one is a pyramid scheme and the other isn’t.”

WOW, you really are on it, aren’t you??

When I worked in corporate management, I was on the front lines of a pyramid scheme.

Really.

Think about it…

A standard business model has one CEO, a few front line managers, some more managers underneath them, and then the general staff, at varying levels, underneath them.

Truly the perfect pyramid!

My network marketing team?

Well, officially, I am at the head…then I have a few people in my front line, and people underneath them, so on and so forth…but as a growing team, my team looks a little more like a diamond right now than a pyramid.

Truly, the largest pyramid schemes on the planet can be tied to those things people like to call JOBS (or as we like to call them, Just Over Broke) opportunities.

Network Marketing though, when done properly, is little more than a franchise opportunity called by a different name.

As a representative of an organization, you’ll find opportunities for training, cookie cutter operations, modes and methods that you can follow exactly or tweak to be your own…opportunities to truly succeed in ways you have never experienced before!

I am blessed with the opportunity to lead a team of hundreds of Wellness Advocates…some who are fully dedicated to building a thriving business and finding the same type freedoms my family and I have benefitted from, and some who are just in it to help their own family find a better, more natural way to manage day to day things that come their way.

If this sounds like something that you could get on board with…well, let’s jump!

I would love to help you get started!

Please feel free to PM me on Facebook, to e-mail me at permianbasindoterra@gmail.com or comment with your email address below.

Whether you are looking to start a business opportunity of your dreams, or whether you are simply looking for natural solutions to empower yourself and your family; I am here for you!

I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Sincerely,

Sunny
